In an explanation, the public authority said that 7 Indian and 1 Pakistan-based YouTube news channels were ban on fake YouTube channels that mislead users, the ministry said under the IT Rules, 2021.

Rajkotupdates.news: 8 YouTube channels – whose total perspectives were more than 114 crores – have been banned by the public authority for spreading misinformation. Out of absolute 8 YouTube channels, 7 are from India, and 1 is from Pakistan. The Service of Data and Broadcasting said in an explanation that phony, enemies of India content were being adapted through the hindered channels.

The YouTube channels were spreading misinformation about India’s public safety, unfamiliar relations, and public request, the public authority said. “The substance was viewed as totally bogus and touchy according to the viewpoint of public safety and India’s accommodating relations with unfamiliar states,” the assertion said.

Watch Lokantar television, U&V television, AM Razvi, Gauravshali Pawan Mithilanchal, Stop fifth, Govt Update, Sab Kuch Dekho. Also, the Pakistan-based channel “News Ki Dunya” is impeded. Around 85 lakh clients bought into the channels. Aside from this, one Facebook record and two Facebook posts have been banned.

While the service said these YouTube channels were deceiving clients and making their substance show up “legitimate”, India-based channels were “tracked down utilizing counterfeit and sensationalized thumbnails, pictures of reporters and logos of specific television news stations”. “All YouTube channels hindered by the service were showing ads on their recordings containing misleading substance unsafe to collective congruity, public request, and India’s unfamiliar relations,” the public authority further underlined.

Since December, the Middle has impeded 102 channels on YouTube and a few other web-based entertainment accounts.
